Raquel Aguilera Pascual is the partner responsible for the Real Estate Department at Prime Legal Abogados. She’s an expert on real estate law, particularly in real estate estate assets’ sale and lease transactions, development and construction contracts, due diligence, the constitution and regulation of owners associations as well as real estate management and administration.

She has more than 20 years of first-rate experience advising all types of real estate investment vehicles, companies and private individuals, developers and family offices in addition to foreign companies on their investments in Spain.

On the other hand, her deep involvement in the real estate sector has solidified her 360º perspective. In fact, after having begun her career at the firm Maresca, she founded together with a partner her own real estate company in 1999. In 2003, they created a real estate investment vehicle dedicated to the sale, construction and promotion of real estate assets operating in Spain, France and Bulgaria. For 7 years, she was not only a shareholder but she was also responsible for the Legal Affairs Department of the construction and development company in addition to being a member of the investment committee.

This allowed her to gain a broad understanding of the needs and concerns of sector business owners which meant she could provide differential added value advising clients when she decided to set up her own firm specializing in real estate law in 2012. She intervenes in acquisition, sale and management processes in relation to all types of real estate assets from conducting due diligence to negotiating and drafting sale, construction and promotion agreements, applying for building permits, constituting owners associations, registry registrations and bank financing, all in line with each client’s own needs. She advises clients on the negotiation and drafting of real estate lease, management and administration contracts.

In 2021, she decided to join Prime Legal Abogados as a founding partner for the purposes of being able to offer her clients specialist multi-disciplinary advisory services.

Post-graduate degrees in Urban Development and Real Estate Law I and II, Esade, Universitat Ramon Llull.

She keeps her knowledge up-to-date by attending various training courses offered by the Distinguished Bar Association of Barcelona as well as at Real Estate Law I, II and III Congresses (2018-2020).
